James Bond – Skyfall

Anybody who’s met me, knows I have a slight obsession with everything James Bond. Ok, a huge obsession. Fast cars, expensive gadgets, great clothes and gorgeous women? Who wouldn’t like that?

I love the latest two; Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. People were sceptical at first, me included, when fellow Scouser Daniel Craig took the role, but he’s done the codename 007 wonders. Having read the entire collection of Ian Fleming’s books, I can say that Daniel Craig is a great match, and captures the original essence of the books perfectly – the best since Connery in my opinion – not that I’m putting Pierce Brosnan’s performance down, or any of the other actors, they’re great films, but lately just they seemed like a totally different movie.

You can imagine my excitement when I heard that Daniel Craig had signed on for five more films, but as an admirer of Daniel Craig’s figure, and being an avid fitness freak myself, you cannot imagine my excitement when this sneak picture of Skyfall was released, featuring Craig’s perfectly toned back and bulging triceps – no homo. Just the incentive I needed for those extra few reps, and the reason why I opted for the chicken salad over the pizza.

Skyfall’s release is set for the 9th of November. If you need me, I will be at the front of the queue, foaming at the mouth.

  1. ‘Our Friends In The North’ is probably available on DVD – if you like Daniel Craig’s acting, I recommend you try to get hold of a copy of the series – he is blisteringly good in it.
